3. Measuring principles
3.1. Multi distribution sampling sytem (MDSS)
3.1.1. CBC mode
While in the CBC Mode, 30µl of whole
blood is aspirated then delivered with
into the following chambers as
indicated:
One segment of sample for the Dilution
chamber which is used for the RBC/PLT
dilution and the Hemoglobin
measurement.
The other segment of sample is used for
the WBC/BASO count.

3.1.2. Diff Mode
While in the DIFF Mode, 53µl of whole
blood is aspirated then delivered with
into the following chambers as
indicated:
One segment of sample for the Dilution
chamber which is used for the RBC/PLT
dilution and the Hemoglobin
measurement.
The second segment of sample is used
for the WBC/BASO count.
The last segment of sample is used for
the LMNE chamber from which the sam-
ple is taken into the flowcell for the
LMNE count.
