Caution!
The Cleaner Slide must be inserted into the 12
th
position of the tray.
The surface of the sample remains wet after the automatic lens cleaning process, and the
residual moisture must be removed manually. The wet slide can only be scanned with the
40x water immersion lens. If the user also feeds the immersion fluid manually or loads the
same sample several times, the excess immersion fluid from the cover plate must be
removed manually. Otherwise, the water accumulating on the cover plate may flow out of
the sample when the slide is moved and may cause corrosion or wetting the 20x lens, which
may result in deterioration of scanning quality.

Reload pipette
to inform Pannoramic® Scanner Software for Research control software that
you have refilled the pipette.
Pipette status is displayed and continuously updated during operation. The quantity of the
immersion fluid contained in the pipette is visualized by the level of blue filling of the icon.

Pipette is fully loaded
•

Pipette is half-full, can be used without the software prompting you to refill it.

Pipette is empty, immersion scanning cannot be performed until refilling the
pipette. When a warning message appears informing you that the fliud level in the
pipette is low, do not hesitate to refill the pipette.
Caution!
If the program warns you to refill the pipette, please act promptly as air can be sucked into
the system resulting in insufficient operation of the pipetting unit.
