NOTE:
A
Cleaner Slide
must be placed into the 12
th
slide position to clear the water immersion
objective if Pannoramic® Confocal RX is used for immersion scanning.
A hatch and
marking represent a slide that is loaded at the moment. If immersion has been
used, the warning status icon is displayed on the slide icon.
If you want to modify slide status (for example, if the icon represents a wet slide status although
a dry slide has been loaded), right-click on the slide icon and select
Change current slide status
(wet/dry)
to modify slide status. Select
Skip
to mark the slide to be skipped.
When in
Service
mode (see
chapter 6 Settings and services
for more information), additional
functions are available for you to select for slide positions.

Pipette status / Objective status
The objective icon can have three different states, where a specific color indicates the actual
status of the objective:

Dry
•
–
Cleaned with cleaner slide
•
–
Wet
Upon clicking on the objective icon, and selecting
Clean
, the objective can be cleaned with the
Cleaner Slide
. By selecting
Set to Clean
, its status can be set to
Clean
without physically cleaning it.
