Maintenance
This section describes the most common maintenance solutions that can be performed by the
user of the product. For maintenance solutions not described in this manual, contact the service
personnel.
Notice:
The security level of the device will not be altered after maintenance work is done.
9.5.1
Opening the service door
To remove the pipette, perform other maintenance work, or if the running digitization procedure
is interrupted because of slide or tray jamming, the service door of Pannoramic® Confocal RX
need to be opened to eliminate the problem. Except for the filter change and pipette removal,
before opening the service door, exit Pannoramic® Scanner Software for Research control
software, switch off power supply and disconnect power cables.

The service door (

) can be opened simply by releasing the door lock (

), then the door can be
manually opened. On completion of the maintenance or repair work, the service door must be
closed back again and locked (a “clack” sound can be clearly heard).
