Personality — DSK Level Cut Menu
2. Assign the DSK Level Cut feature to each DSK as follows:
• Use the
DSK
knob to select which DSK you want to turn the DSK Level Cut
feature on or off.
• Use the On/Off knob to select whether the selected DSK is cut off with a manual
crosspoint change on the PGM Bus .

— Use this option to have the selected DSK Cut
Off
when a manual
crosspoint change is made on the PGM Bus .

Off
— Use this option to have the selected DSK remain unchanged when a
manual crosspoint change is made on the PGM Bus .
This completes the procedure to configure the DSK Level Cut mode.
Roll VTR Mode
The Roll VTR Mode determines how the ROLL VTR button behaves when a VTR or Video Server is
selected. When you set the Roll VTR Mode , the setting affects all ROLL VTR buttons in all MLEs.
Use the following procedure to configure the Roll VTR Mode :
1. Navigate to the Roll VTR Mode Menu as follows:
• Press HOME B MORE B Setup B Personality B Roll VTR Mode .

2. Use the Roll VTR Mode knob to assign a mode as follows:
• Play — Select this option to issue a Play command to the serial device when the
Roll VTR button is selected in the PST Bus. This is the default setting.
• Arm — Select this option to enable the Synergy switcher to automatically transition
the device to air after the preroll interval has lapsed.
• Armed Always — Select this option to enable the Synergy switcher to
automatically transition the device to air after the preroll interval has lapsed.
This completes the procedure to configure the Roll VTR Mode .
