9. Adjust the circle pattern as follows:
• Use the
Clip
knob to adjust the size of the pattern. This does not change to size of
the video signal you are using, only the size of the pattern. In this case the Clip
adjusts the size of the circle.
• Use the
Gain
knob to adjust the softness of the edge of the pattern. This setting will
determine if you have a hard edge or a soft edge for your pattern.
10. Use the Positioner to place the Key pattern on the Key video as follows:
• Move the
Positioner
horizontally to move the Key pattern left or right.
• Move the
Positioner
vertically to move the Key pattern up or down.
• Twist the
Positioner
clockwise or counter-clockwise to make the Key pattern
smaller or larger.
11. Select a video signal on the
BKGD
bus of MLE 2 . This will be the background that the
Key from MLE 1 will be flown over.
12. Select
SELF KEY
in the Key 1 MLE 2 Group to display the Self Key Setup Menu .

13. Adjust the clip and gain levels of the Key as follows:
• Use the
Clip
knob to adjust the clipping level of the Key.
• Use the
Gain
knob to adjust the gain level, softness, of the Key.
• Adjust the Clip and Gain of the Key until the black background of the Key
vanishes and you can see the background of MLE 2 around the circle.
14. Select
FLY KEY
in the MLE 2 Key 1 Group to display the Squeeze & Tease Menu
1-2 .

Position/Crop Menu 1-2 may be displayed.
