5. Use the
Color Selection Menu
to adjust the appearance of the White Flash:
•
Use the
Luminance
knob to adjust the luminance level of the White Flash.
•
Use the
Saturation
knob to adjust the saturation level of the White Flash.
•
Use the
Hue
knob to adjust the hue levels of the White Flash.
This completes the procedure to configure the White Flash effect.
Transition Preview
In all
MLE Transition
groups, the
TRANS PV
(transition preview) button allows you to rehearse a
complete preset-to-program transition without affecting the selected MLE’s program output. When
TRANS PV
is lit, the
full transition
occurs on the preview side of the MLE, leaving the PGM output
signal undisturbed. In this mode, you can create, rehearse, and preview a transition, without affecting
the MLE’s program output. With
TRANS PV
engaged, the MLE’s
Fader
is effectively
disconnected
from program.
Use the following procedure to utilize the
Transition Preview
function:
1. Select the desired
Next Transition
button or buttons, depending on which video
elements you want to change.
2. Press the desired transition type. If you wish to preview a transition which involves only
the background, all four transition types (dissolves, wipes, DVE Send, and S&T wipes)
are available. If a key is involved in your next transition, only
DISS
and
WIPE
transition can be previewed.
3. Ensure that the
Fader
is at an upper or lower limit. The
TRANS PV
button cannot be
enabled or disabled when the
Fader
(or
AUTO TRANS
button) is off a limit. This
restriction prevents an effect from
popping
into or out of the MLE program video.
4. Enable the
Transition Preview
function using one of the following methods:
•
If you have the
Second Transition Preview
option enabled, you can preview a
transition by pressing and holding a transition type button (
DISS
,
WIPE
or
DVE
Note
The White Flash default is set to
HSL
. Press
RGB
if you wish to edit
the White Flash in
RGB
colors.
Operating
Tip
You can turn the White Flash effect off by repeating steps 1 and 2 and
toggling the
White Flash
softkey to
Off
.
