2. Press the
DSK RATE
in the
Global Memory System Group
to select a new Transition
Rate for the Downstream Keyers.
3. Enter the new auto transition rate from
1
to
999
on the keypad in the
Global Memory
System Group
. The new rate will appear on the top line of the display, as shown below,
and the
ENTER
button will be lit.
4. Press
ENTER
to accept the new rate. The display updates as shown below, the
ENTER
light turns off, and the new rate is available for use.
This completes the procedure to change the Key Rate for the Downstream Keyers.
Changing MLE Keyer Rates
This section describes how to change the auto transition rates in the MLE’s
Key 1
and
Key 2
groups.
The rate is the same for both keyers.
1. Note the current Key transition rate on the display in the selected MLE’s
Memory
group. The key dissolve rate is displayed as
KEY:###
. This rate governs
both
keyers.
2. Press
KEY RATE
in the
MLE Memory System Group
of the MLE you want to change
the Key rate for.
3. Enter the new auto transition rate from
1
to
999
on the keypad in the
MLE Memory
System Group
. The new rate will appear on the top line of the display, as shown below,
and the
ENTER
button will be lit.
Operating
Tip
If you do not want to change the auto transition rate at this time, press
any of the
RATE
or
STORE
buttons to cancel entering a new rate.
If you want to enter a
different
rate prior to pressing
ENTER
, simply
continue to type until the desired value appears.
Note
When a DSK transition is performed, the display above the Fader in
the
Program/Preset Transition
group briefly updates with the
selected DSK’s transition rate. Once the transition has completed, the
display returns to the MLE transition rate.
Note
Because the Synergy 2 does
not
have an
MLE Memory Group
, the
key rate is shown in the
Global Memory System
group’s display as
soon as you press the
KEY RATE
button. Once the rate is entered, the
key rate value is hidden. To simply
check
the current MLE key rate on
the Synergy 2, press
KEY RATE
— but
do not
enter any new values.
