button to preview the current effect.
6. Release the transition button you pressed in step 4.
This concludes the procedure to utilize the Transition Preview in the PGM MLE.
Key Over
Each MLE has two KEY OVER buttons:
• The KEY OVER button in an MLE’s Key 1 group changes the visual and electronic
priority of Key 1 from “under” to “over” Key 2 . The key priority is changed as a cut .
~ When the KEY OVER button is off, Key 2 is over Key 1 .
~ When the KEY OVER button is on, Key 1 is over Key 2 .
• The
KEY OVER
button in the MLE Transition group changes the priority of the
MLE’s two keyers as an effect , rather than as a cut.
Use the following procedure to perform a Key Over transition:
1. Ensure that both MLE keyers are on.
2. Select the desired
DISS
or
WIPE
transition.
3. Enable the
KEY OVER
button.
4. Use the Fader or
AUTO TRANS
to perform the transition.
This completes the procedure to perform a Key Over transition.
Notes on the Key Over Function
Please note the following important points regarding the MLE Transition group’s Key Over
function:
• The Key Over function works only when both keys are on. If only one key is on, the
KEY OVER
button will not light.
• The
KEY OVER
button stays lit after the Key Over transition has completed.

Menus by toggling the
Key Over
softkey between
On
and
Off
