Deleting Memory Registers
The Delete Memory option allows you to delete a memory register, making it unavailable to recall
from the Global Memory System Group or the MLE’s Memory Group . This is a temporary setting
if you enable the Recall Deleted Memories feature in the Personality Menu . Once enabled, the Recall
Deleted Memories feature enables you to recall any memory register including those tagged as
Deleted . Refer to Chapter 9, “ Additional Installation Setups ” in the Synergy Series Installation
Guide for information on enabling the Recall Deleted Memories feature.
Use the following procedure to delete a memory register:
1. Navigate to the Name Memories Menu as follows:
• Press HOME B Attributes B Memories Setup .

2. Select the memory register to delete as follows:
• Use the top knob to select the MLE for the register that you want to delete.
• Use the Bank knob to select the memory register.
3. Press Delete Memory to delete the selected memory register. Note that the Deleted:
field in the Main Area of the menu changes from No to Yes .
This concludes the procedure to delete a memory register.
Note
By default, all empty memory registers are tagged as Deleted . Once
you store a register to memory, the Synergy switcher automatically sets
it to undeleted, allowing you to recall it from the
Global Memory
System Group or the MLE’s Memory Group .
