Certificate of conformity for the REA calibration cards
Conformity confirmation
for the
calibration and testing card of REA VeriCube
The level corrections and the calibration fields of the calibration card as well as the
test codes applied were tested with a REA reference device. The corresponding
reference test report is delivered together with the respective serialized card with
reference to the serial number.
The REA reference testing device has been tested and configured with primary
calibration standards according to ISO/IEC 15426-1 and ISO/IEC 15426-2.
The primary calibration standards were obtained from the company Applied Image
INC., USA. The contrast values were set on the basis of the corresponding primary
calibration standards according to ISO 7724/2 for contrast values. The metric
calibration is based on determining the size of the respective codes of the relevant
primary calibration standards.
The calibration card is created photographically as a copy of a glass master. This
photographic process causes the card to be light-sensitive. The calibration card must
be stored protected from daylight. Scratching, dirt and other negative influences
make the card unusable.
The measurement precision of the REA VeriCube must be regularly verified (see
section 9.2).
