Selecting the installation type gives you several installation options, depending on
the desired type of installation.
a.
"install the programs for all users", all users of the computer can use the
software. The configuration and adjustment data are stored by default in the
directory C:\ProgramData. The users need read and write access to this
directory.
i.
With activation of “Restore the backup of old configurations”, the
following data will be restored for REA VeriCube:
1)
TW32 settings (all items in menu >configure >options
2)
Printer settings (the printer that was used, settings of the printer)
3)
The verifiers that were connected in last session.
4)
Serial number of measurements on one day
5)
All settings of VeriCube, profiles, adjustment data
b.
“install the programs individually for each user”, only the respective user can
use the software. The configuration and adjustment data are stored in the
directory of the respective user under %AppData%. This means that each user
then has his or her individual adjustment and configuration data.
c.
“Install the programs as Audit Trail System” (this is a chargeable option)":
with this option all relevant actions are recorded and the data is stored in a
secure area, the DataServer. This installation requires that the license is
activated in VeriCube or that a license key is ordered from REA. Please also
refer to the separate Audit Trail manual.
