In addition the configuration has a setting which ensures that each order number
creates a subfolder in which reports are stored into.
If a test report is converted to a PDF document through a PDF Writer, the generated
file name (including the automatic numbering) is transferred to the PDF program.
Thus, if the order number is used consistently, manual entry of file names is not
necessary for saving and creating PDF documents.
Saving measuring reports as PDF files can be configured to work in a background
mode. This means that no user dialog is required to create the PDF files. All that is
required is a third party PDF writer program. Measuring reports are in this case
always available as PDF files without any action required to be done by the routine
user.
Attention:
It is strongly recommended that all users have full access to the set
directory for document storage. Restriction to read and write access may result in
restrictions to some functions.
