Assigning
User IDs and
Passwords
You must have Manager level access rights to assign a user ID and pass-
word.
1. From the Home screen, select
Menu>Tools .
2. Select Configure System>Security Level .
NOTE: If you are not logged in with supervisor or manager access rights, you
will be prompted to enter an access code.
3. The Security screen displays. Select User ID Setup .
4. Select Add New User .
5. The Enter User Name screen displays:
a. Use the alphanumeric matrix to enter the user ID.
b. Select
Finished when done.
6. The Select User Level screen displays:
a. Use the UP/DOWN arrow keys to select the appropriate access level
(operator, supervisor, or manager.)
NOTE:
Refer to Access Rights in Chapter 2 of this guide for more infor-
mation.
b. Select Accept User Level when done.
7. The Enter Password screen displays:
a. Enter the password.
NOTE: Passwords are four-digit numeric codes. Numbers 1, 2, 3, 4 and
5 display on the first screen. Press "Next" to access numbers 6, 7, 8, 9,
and 0.
Enabling and
Disabling the
High Capacity
Sheet Feeder
(HCSF)
Follow the steps below to enable or disable the HCSF.
1. On the control panel, enable the upper and/or lower feeder trays.
2. From the Home screen, select
Menu>Tools">Configure
System>Tools .
3. Select Enable or Disable for the Feeders that you want.
4. Select Accept , and then press HOME .
