DANGER

Up to 240 V ac is present at the power module connectors when the main
power cord is connected to a power source. (RSFTD010)

Remove the power supply from the frame.

7.

Install the power supply by reversing the removal procedure. After exchanging
an item, go to “Verifying the Repair” on page 920.

Note:

Do not slam the power supply in when installing it into the system.
Insert it until the power supply engages the frame, then rotate the
handle from left to right.

This ends the procedure.

Remove media (if any) from the device. If the eject button on a tape device is
failing, go to “Tape Cartridge – Manual Removal” on page 701, then continue
with the next step of this procedure. If the eject button on an optical media
device (CD-ROM or DVD) is failing and will not open, go to “Optical Media –
Manual Removal” on page 704, and then continue with the next step of this
procedure.
