• Check for carbon deposits in the

combustion chamber (P. 13-1).

• Check that the cylinder head is correctly

tightened (P. 13-1).

• Check for defective cylinder head gasket,

valves or valve seats (P. 13-1, 2, 3 and 4).

• Check for worn piston, piston rings or

cylinder (P. 14-5, 6 and 7).
