• CONTROL MOTORS INSTALLATION
1) Set the link lever and spring on the throttle and choke arms.
2) Install the motor bracket to the carburetor.
Tighten the two 4 x 12 mm screw washers to the specified
torque (P. 4-6).
TORQUE: 2.1 N.m (0.2 kgf.m, 1.5 Ibf.ft)
3) Apply oil to the felt seal.
Install the felt seal to the control motor.
4) Install the control motor by aligning the motor shaft with
the link lever groove.
Tighten the four 3 x 8 mm screw washers to the specified
torque.
TORQUE: 0.9 N.m (0.1 kgf.m, 0.7 Ibf.ft)
• THROTTLE STOP SCREW INSTALLATION
Remove the throttle stop screw only if necessary for carburetor
repair or cleaning.
1) Install so that the throttle valve is at the fully closed
position and screw end does not touch the throttle lever.
2) Tighten the throttle stop screw until the screw just reaches
the throttle lever. Tighten the throttle stop screw an
additional 1–1/4 turns when the screw starts to push the
throttle lever.
3) Install the carburetor (P. 4-4) and start the engine.
4) With the engine at normal operating temperature, the Eco-
Throttle switch in the ON position, and no load connected
to the generator, check the engine speed on the i-Monitor.
