a. TROUBLESHOOTING BY ERROR CODE

No Indicator Light and i-Monitor Does Not Display

When turning the ignition switch to ON, i-Monitor and three indicators will blink. The generator is running, and the
output indicator and i-Monitor display will remain lit.

Check the fuses (MAIN 15A, ACC 1A).

Replace the fuse (P. 6-5).

Normal

Blown

Check the ignition switch (P. 6-11).

Check the harness connecting the ignition switch and GCU for
open or short circuit and for proper connection.

Replace the ignition switch (P. 6-6
thru. 10).

Normal

Abnormal

Replace or repair the engine wire
harness and/or control wire
harness.

Abnormal

Normal

Turn the ignition switch OFF and then restart the engine and
check the error code. If the same error occurs, replace the GCU
(P. 6-6).
