Returns a hexadecimal number (FS-XX) with the current fault status of the drive. If the number
is not zero the active bit position indicates a fault according to the following list.

COMMANDED POSITION
Returns the current command position of the drive in signed user units.

FEED BACK POSITION
Returns the current feedback position of the drive in signed user units.

CURRENT COUNT
Returns the count of the number of indexes that are left to execute.
AF
SET UP/QUERY
AUTO FAULT REPORTING
Enables (AF=1) or disables (AF=0) the automatic fault reporting feature of the drive. If enabled
the drive will issue the single character “F” when any fault condition occurs.
AP
SET UP/QUERY
AUTO END OF INDEX COUNT REPORTING
Enables (AP=1) or disables (AP=0) the automatic end of index count feature of the drive. If
enabled, the drive will issue the single character “P” when an index has completely finished (all
counts are complete). This may be used as an indication that the drive is ready for another
execution command.

QUERY ONLY
HARDWARE FAULT STATUS
When a hardware fault has taken place, the FH command may be used to determine the type of
fault. The number returned will match the hardware fault number that will be shown on the 7-
segment display (other than 0).
0 – no fualt
1 – rms
2 – shorts
3 – resolver
4 – supply
5 – motor temp
6 – fuse or low AC line voltage
7 – bridge temp
