COMMAND TYPE OF COMMAND
DESCRIPTION
HR/HI/HO
SET UP/QUERY
HOME VELOCITIES
Sets the velocity to be used for a segment of the Home cycle in user velocity units. Select the
desired segment velocity based on the following:
HR – mark velocity
HI – feed on sensor velocity
HO – feed off sensor velocity
These are signed quantities specifying both velocity and direction for the particular Home
segment.
HA/HD
SET UP/QUERY
HOME ACCEL/DECEL RAMPS
Sets the acceleration/deceleration ramp slopes to be used during the Home cycle in milliseconds
to maximum velocity. Note that no deceleration is used at the end of the Home cycle, therefore
the final Home segment velocity should be set low enough for the application requirements. No
acceleration ramp is used during resolver offset cycle, so the resolver offset results should also
be kept minimal.
HP
SET UP/QUERY
ABSOLUTE POSITION AFTER HOME
Sets the Home reference position in user units. At the conclusion of the Home cycle this will be
the absolute position of system. Any index moves to an absolute position (index types 1, 4 and
5) will be referenced from this position. Any software travel limits are also referenced from this
position. HP is a signed quantity.
RO
SET UP/QUERY
RESOLVER OFFSET
Sets the resolver offset in user units from the resolver zero position. RO is an unsigned quantity
and must be less than the number of user units of distance per revolution. (See the SR
command.) Since the resolver zero position is dependent on the mounted position of the resolver
on the motor shaft, the "RO" command lets the user adjust the mark position within one
revolution without having to make physical adjustments. This offset is used only during Home
cycles that move to the resolver mark (types 0, 2, 4).
HL
SET UP/QUERY
HOME LOCK
Selects whether the power up Home Lock feature of the drive is enabled (HL=1) or disabled
(HL=0). When enabled, no motion other than Home execution will be allowed until a Home
cycle has been successfully completed. Since software travel limits are not enabled until the
completion of a Home cycle, the Home Lock feature is a method that ensures the enabling of the
software travel limits before allowing other motion commands.
