Index Commands
All index commands may include a modifier indicating the particular index to which the
command is directed. If no modifier is present in the command an index number of zero will be
assumed. For example, the commands "DS=1000" and "DS0=1000" would both set the distance
information of index zero to 1000, while the command "IN5" would execute index five. The
modifier will be left out in the following index command summary for the sake of clarity and all
commands will be discussed as if they were addressed to index zero.

EXECUTE SELECTED INDEX
Starts index execution. The specified index will run with the programmed parameters for the
number of times set in the index count parameter.

NO SELECT LINE INDEX #
Set the default index number that will be executed when an initiate input is received if no index
select lines are assigned. The default is index number 0.

Selects the type of index from the following list:
0 – Incremental Distance Index
1 – Linear Absolute Position Index
2 – Feed Sensor Index
3 – Registration Index
4 – Rotary Absolute Position Shortest Path Index
5 – Rotary Absolute Position (forced direction CW)
6 – Rotary Absolute Position (forced direction CCW)
