TD/SD
SET UP/QUERY
TRAVEL LIMIT/STOP ACCEL RAMPS
"TD" sets the decel ramp slope for faults and travel limits. "SD" sets the decel ramp slope to be
used to stop. Both ramps are programmed in milliseconds from maximum system velocity.
TL
SET UP/QUERY
PROGRAMMABLE TRAVEL LIMITS
Sets the software travel limits. A modifier of 0 (TL0=…) sets the minimum (CCW) allowable
absolute position and a modifier of 1 (TL1=…) sets the maximum (CW) allowable absolute
position. Limits are set in signed user units and are referenced from the Home position.
Software travel limits are not active until a Home cycle has been completed.
PL
SET UP/QUERY
PROGRAMMABLE INDEX POSITION/DISTANCE LIMITS
Sets the limits for index distances or positions in the same manner as the "TL" command. Any
attempt to program an index distance or position that is outside the specified range will generate
an error.
VL
SET UP/QUERY
PROGRAMMABLE VELOCITY LIMITS
Sets the maximum allowable velocity which may be programmed in unsigned user velocity units.
Any attempt to program a velocity of greater magnitude than this velocity limit will generate an
error.
AL/DL SET UP/QUERY PROGRAMMABLE ACCEL/DECEL RAMP LIMITS
Sets the minimum (fastest) allowable acceleration/deceleration slope which may be programmed
in milliseconds to maximum system velocity. Any attempt to program a faster accel/decel slope
will generate an error.
SR & SR1 SET UP/QUERY
STEPS/USER REV
SR sets the number of user steps per user turn. SR1 sets the number of external steps per user
turn (PCM only) used to determine the external/internal ratio for synchronization. The default
setting for both values is 4000. The number programmed should be between 200 and 30000.
