COMMAND TYPE OF COMMAND
DESCRIPTION
PRXX
EXECUTION ONLY
PROGRAM EXECUTION (PCM only)
Starts execution of Program XX. If no program number is included in the command, Program 0
will execute.
PR
SET UP/QUERY
NO SELECT LINE PROGRAM # (PCM only)
Sets the default program number that will be executed when an initiate input is received if no
program select lines are assigned. The default is program number 0.
NP
SET UP/QUERY
NUMBER OF PROGRAMS (PCM only)
Sets the number of programs available for PCM modules. The default is 64 and the maximum is
256. Reducing the number of programs available will increase the number of steps available for
each program. If the number is changed, all program information will be initialized (empty
programs). If the setup command does not change the current value of NP is will have no affect.
SP
EXECUTION/SET UP/QUERY
SUSPEND/RESUME (PCM only)
As an execution command will toggle the current suspend/resume state of a program. If a
program is running and a suspend state is not active, the program will enter the suspend state. If
the suspend state is active, the original program that was suspended will be resumed.
CL
EXECUTION ONLY
CLEAR SUSPEND (PCM only)
Clears a suspend cycle in the same manner as a clear suspend input.
SG
SET UP/QUERY
SUSPEND FLAGS (PCM only)
Sets various flags used for suspend/resume (hexadecimal).
bit
0 – set for auto program execution on suspend
1 – set for auto resume
2 – set for auto return (exec retn to position index) on resume
3 – set for auto clear after suspend/auto program
Example:
SG=7 will set bits 0, 1, and 2 causing auto program execution, auto return to
position, and auto resume to all occur upon receipt of a suspend input.
