With the jumpers connected as shown, the thumbwheel data is read into character positions (0-9)
of the digital drive character buffer. Moving the jumper to the bottom will cause the characters
to be read into positions (10-19) of the character buffer.

To exclude erroneous data input caused by changing data, each thumbwheel assembly is
equipped with an input for a data enter push button. This input must be made for thumbwheel
data to transfer to the digital drive. The momentary push button switch must be provided by the
customer. The mating Molex connector and pins are provided with the thumbwheel assembly.
The connections are made at the rear of the assembly.
