Packet Voice Processor Commands Manual

with an active and standby router to provide for router failover.

Warning

Failure to provision a standby LAG port using the Packet Voice Processor
commands, could lead to congestion on the active LAG port or ports in the event of
a LAG port failure.

Note

The Packet Voice Processor LAG redirection is non-revertive. Once the media
(bearer) traffic is redirected to a standby port, the traffic will not be directed back to
the original active port when that port has been brought back into service.
