2.8 Command
Line Editing

The Packet Voice Processor CLI supports BACKSPACE, INSERT, and DELETE for

command line editing. The Packet Voice Processor CLI supports “^C” as an abort

character where applicable.

2.9 Command
Menus

The Packet Voice Processor CLI supports interactive command menus to simplify

command configuration with multiple parameters. The UP and DOWN arrows, as

well as the hyphen “-” and ENTER keys can be used to navigate the command

menus.

2.9.1 Tab Key Navigation

The Tab key can also be used to simplify command configuration with multiple

parameters. By typing a command action or partial command and then pressing the

tab key, command configuration options are presented to the user.

Example 2-4 on page 34

displays an example of tab key command navigation, where

the tab key was pressed after first typing SIGNAL, and then SIGNALING PROFILE,

and then SIGNALING PROFILE SIPPROF01.
