Packet Voice Processor Commands Manual
5.3.2 Header Passthrough
The Packet Voice Processor permits the user to either enable or disable SIP
signaling header passthrough for the following SIP message types:
INVITE
200 OK
BYE
Header passthrough is accomplished by using the
SIGNALING PROFILE ADD
or
SIGNALING PROFILE <name> SET
command and the Proprietary Header
Passthrough parameter (

Enter the Packet Voice Processor SIP
Authentication Password.
The Packet Voice Processor SIP Authentication
Password is defined as the user-created password
required by the SIP proxy server from the Packet
Voice Processor for authentication for the Packet
Voice Processor.
Each SIP proxy server sending signaling packets to
the Packet Voice Processor should be configured to
request a password from the Packet Voice
Processor prior to beginning transmission of these
packets.

Enter the SIGNALING PROFILE <profile-
name> [SHOW] command.
Enter this command to review the new signaling
profile.
