1.13 HD Video Detail Setting
On all Slate HD systems, settings are available to increase the overall sharpness and
detail on HD inputs and HD outputs. This increases video bandwidth, especially for
graphics, to enhance the overall picture quality of your output.
To Access the HD Video Detail Menu:
1.
In BPswitcher, click on
Setup
and a
drop down window will appear, then select
System Settings…
as shown on the right.
The System Settings window will appear,
as shown below.
2.
In System Settings window, click on
the
HDIO
tab.
This will open the Video Details section,
as shown on the right.
Select one of the 3 factory presets:
Low, Medium
or
High.
Low is the factory default, which slightly
enhances the overall video output.
Medium increases the HD video input source as well
as increases the overall video output. This setting
will make incoming cameras look sharper and
outgoing clips and graphics look sharper.
High increases the HD video input source as well as
increase the overall video output more. This setting
is primary used for making graphic images look
sharper, as it will tend to over-sharpen video inputs.
3.
At any time adjust the
HD Inputs
and/or the
HD
Output
sliders to fine-tune the picture quality. The
HD Inputs slider only affects sharpness on incoming
signals. The HD Output slider affects the entire
picture, including graphics and clips.
4.
To save and close the Video Detail window, click on
the
OK
button
.
This will close the System settings
window.
