5.2 Creating Still CG Graphics
CG graphics can be created from scratch using all of the tools in TitleMotion.
The easiest way to get started however, is to use one of the over 200+ pre-
designed CG templates provided by Inscriber. The size is determined
by the Slate IO Assignment settings in Broadcast Pix. On all G Series workstations
if an HD card is installed, the canvas size will be set to either 720x486/576,
1280x720 or 1920x1080, depending on what resolutions output D/E is set to. On all
non-G Series workstations the canvas is always set to 720x486/576.
When the Broadcast Pix Switcher application is opened, it will automatically open
TitleMotion and minimize it, ready for use. It is recommended not to close
TitleMotion and use the minimize button to hide the application, when not in use.
To create a CG using a template:
1.
Double-Click on the
TitleMotion Icon
on the desktop to start the Inscriber
application and the application will launch a blank canvas, as illustrated
below. The application may take a minute to load.

At the top of the Inscriber GUI, click on the
Templates
drop down menu.

Scroll down through the many templates until you find one you like. As you
scroll down a preview of each template is shown as illustrated below.
