V8.5

4.0.2  ME 1 Tally

As described in the previous section, the Program tally output can be sent to the
optional external tally box. By default ME 2 (the main program) is sent to the tally box.
When sources from ME 1 are re-entered into ME 2 they too are tallied to the external
box as well as triggered by Audio-Follow-Video, as described in section 7.14.

In some installations ME 1 and ME 2 are used to control two different outputs
simultaneously, in this case tally for both MEs is important.

To tally ME 1 to the external tally box:

1.

In BPswitcher select the

Setup

drop down menu from the Menu button.

2.

Then select

System Settings

, as shown

 on the right.

3.

In the System Settings window, select the

2ME

tab

as shown to the right.

4.

Place a check mark next to,

Tally ME1.

Now tally from both ME 1 and ME 2

Program rows are being sent to the
external tally box.

5.

To tally only ME 2 Program,

repeat steps 1 through 3, ensuring
that no check mark is present.

6.

Click on

OK

to save and exit the System

Settings window.
