4.11.6 Programming the Remote Aux Panel
As a default the 16x1 Remote Aux Panel is setup to switch output 8/24 of the router.
You may change which output is effected by using the Harris Router Mapper software
that came with the Remote Aux Panel. When using the Router Mapper software it is
important to configure the rear dip switches as described in section 1.5.7. The following
steps will discuss how to change the output on the panel, please be aware that other
settings can be effected by using this software, it is important to only follow the
instructions below.
To install Router Mapper:
1.
Insert the
Harris Router Mapper CD
that came with the Remote Aux Panel, in
the CD tray of the workstation.
2.
Install the Router Mapper software by double-clicking the
setup
file on the CD.
It may be necessary to navigate to the CD by going to My Computer, then select
the CD drive.
3.
Follow the on screen menus to install the software by clicking on
OK
for the
various pop up messages. It is not necessary to install the Dynamic Routing
Fabric Manager, when asked to do so.
4.
When complete, you may access the Router Mapper application by navigating to
Start menu, Leitch Routing Switching, Router Mapper.
To change which output the aux panel is controlling:
1. Open the Router Mapper application by navigating to
Start menu, Leitch
Routing Switching, Router Mapper.
The Router Mapper application window will
open, as shown below.
