Thank you for purchasing a Broadcast Pix Slate video switcher, soon you will be 
experiencing how we have redefined the switcher. The Broadcast Pix Slate 5000G is the  
industry’s first live integrated production system to incorporate a 2 Mix/Effect (M/E) 
functionality with a Multi-View, Character Generator, Clip Store and Still Stores. In 
addition, it controls external audio mixers, cameras and video servers.  

There are a total of 10 Slate 5000G switcher models, as shown below, all of which use 
the same BPSwitcher software and control panel.  

Take note to which model you have purchased and refer to that section in this manual 
prior to installing your Broadcast Pix Switcher.
