Modem
This field indicates whether the optional internal modem is installed. It will indicate "Yes" if the POTs modem is
installed. It will indicate "None" if no modem or if a Wireless modem card is installed.
Serial Port Section
Port
The currently configured serial port names will display, the default names are I/O1 and I/O2, are displayed for
each of the installed serial ports along with the following information:
Baud/Etc.
Displays the baud, word length, parity, and stop bit settings for each installed serial port.
Recs
Shows the number of carriage return-delimited records stored within the file associated with each serial port.
Bytes
Displays the amount of storage allocated for the above records.
Full
This field is a rough percentage indicator of how much data is stored in a particular file.
Wrap
The indicates the ON/OFF status of whether file wrapping is enabled on a particular port. When ON, a unit
that is 100% full will overwrite the oldest buffered records with new ones. The Wrap Around setting can be

Name displays the target name, which is an optional name given to the device connected to the port. This
target name is used in event notifications and can be configured in the
EventSensor Status
This status menu is accessed by typing
Sensors
or an ! at the command prompt followed by <Enter>. It
serves as a quick-access menu to all of the EventSensors installed in your TeleBoss, and allows you to read
their current status. Configuration of these sensors must still be done in the Alarm/Event Definitions menu
submenu options. Below is a screenshot of a TeleBoss 830
configuration. Your setup will likely differ significantly depending on installed sensors and slot cards.

This column is the shorthand name of the sensor. Common examples include CC for contact closures, VS for
voltage sensors, RL for relays, TS for Temperature Sensor and HS for Humidity Sensor. If nothing is
connected to your TeleBoss it will show 2-CC. The two RJ45 IO ports can be configured as contact closures.
