The Siemens HiPath 4000 uses the Generic Client protocol in the TeleBoss. The Port for a HiPath would be 

1201 by default.

IP Record Collection 

This option is used to select the IP Record Collection protocol.  Setting this to something other than OFF 

enables IP Record Collection and displays the settings needed for that protocol. 

 

Store Collected Data In 

This field sets

 the data file in which to store records received via IPRC.  The default setting is FILE1. 

 

Data Alarm/Filter Enable 

This is an ON/OFF toggle to set whether configured Data Alarms or Filters will be applied to the incoming 

data.  The default setting is OFF. 

 

Target Name 

This is a text field to name the switch and is used in the alarm messages.  The default name is IPRC 1. 

 

Hostname/IP Address 

This field is used to set the IP address or Hostname of the Server.   

 

Port 

This field is used to define the port of the needed to communicate to the server.  The default is 1752. 

 

Time Stamping 

This is an ON/OFF toggle to set whether each individual call record is stamped with the Date and Time 

received in the TeleBoss.  The default setting is OFF. 

 

Multiline Record Enable 

The TeleBoss has the ability to monitor incoming CDR for multi-line records (individual records that are broken 

into multiple lines with carriage returns). 

 

 

If the records are separated by a specific number of blank lines, this basic configuration menu will suffice. If a 

more complex delineation scheme is used, enable Complex Multiline Detection.
