10. Immediately install a standard centering ring (not a
centering ring with stand-off), a cover lid and a KF50 clamp.
WARNING: INSTALL THE CENTERING RING AND
COVER LID IMMEDIATELY, PARTICULARLY IF THERE
IS ANY INDICATION OF COMBUSTION. CLOSING
THE FILTER WITH A COVER LID WILL PREVENT ANY
FURTHER COMBUSTION BY DEPRIVING IT OF
OXYGEN.
11. Tighten the KF50 clamp to 2 Nm (1.5 ft. lbs.).
12. Place a zip tie around the ends of the clamp and tighten.
This is to visually indicate that the port should not be
opened again.
13. Disconnect and remove the KF50 clamp between the
inlet valve and the process filter. Remove the filter inlet
valve assembly and the centering ring with stand-off. The
centering ring may stick slightly to the filter housing. If
needed, pry it loose with a plastic tool (such as a scraper).
14. As you lift the centering ring away from the filter,
simultaneously check to make certain the spring-loaded
valve has closed.
WARNING: THE FILTER INLET PORT MUST BE
CAPPED IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE FILTER INLET
VALVE ASSEMBLY IS REMOVED.
15. Immediately install a standard centering ring (not a centering ring with stand-off), a cover lid and a KF50 clamp.

INDICATION OF COMBUSTION. CLOSING THE FILTER WITH A COVER LID WILL PREVENT ANY FURTHER
COMBUSTION BY DEPRIVING IT OF OXYGEN.
16. Tighten the KF50 clamp to 2 Nm (1.5 ft. lbs.).
17. Place a zip tie around the ends of the clamp and tighten. This is to visually indicate that the port should not be opened
again.
18. Apply the applicable ADR labels (provided) on the side of the used filter. These labels are required for the storage and over-
the-road transport of the used filter (see table on next page).
