
Input, Output and LED Settings

it is always possible to display the current alarms/alarm texts that are assigned to an
LED. Please refer to chapter
Navigation
(description of the »INFO-key«).
Set the following parameters for each LED:
•
»Latching/self holding function«
: If
»Latching«
is set to
»active«
, the state that is set by the alarms will be
stored. If latching
»Latching« is set to »inactive«
, the LED always adopts the state of those alarms that
were assigned.
•
»Acknowledgment«
(signal from the »assignment list«)
•
»LED active color«
, LED lights up in this color in case that at least one of the allocated functions is valid
(red, red flashing, green, green flashing, off).
•
»LED inactive color«
, LED lights up in this color in case that none of the allocated functions is valid (red,
red flashing, green, green flashing, off).
•
Apart from the
LED for System OK
, each LED can be assigned up to five functions/alarms out of the
»assignment list«.
•
»Inverting«
(of the signals), if necessary.
Acknowledgment options
LEDs can be acknowledged by:
•
Via the push-button »C« at the operating panel.
•
Each LED can be acknowledged by a signal of the »assignment list« (If »
Latched = active«
).
•
Via the module »Ex Acknowledge« all LEDs can be acknowledged at once, if the signal for external
acknowledgment that was selected from the »assignment list« becomes true (e.g. the state of a digital
input).
•
Via SCADA, all LEDs can be acknowledged at once.
The Product-CD that is delivered with the device contains a PDF-Template
in order to create and print out self adhesive films for LED assignment texts
(front foil) by means of a laser printer. Recommendation: (AVERY
