Install the lower mount center housing [1] on the mount
frame using the special tools as shown.
To ease assembly, apply grease or lubricating oil to the
threads, nuts and washers of the threaded rods before
drawing the parts together.
Warm up the lower mount center housing using a heat
gun (ETB1600: commercially available) [5] if it is difficult
to install.
Wear gloves to protect your hands when handling the
lower mount center housing.
• Overheating the lower mount center housing may
cause damage to the painted surfaces.
Check that the mount frame turns smoothly.
If the mount frame does not smoothly:
Attach the 8-inch 2-jaw puller (commercially available)
[1] and special tools on the lower mount center housing
[2] as shown.
Tighten the puller bolt and align the surface of the lower
mount center housing with the external clip installation
groove [5] in the mount frame.
Install the external circlip [6] and apply water resistant
molybdenum disulfide grease to the part of "A" [7]
shown in the drawing.
Install the swivel case (page 19-9).
