ENGINE COVER/COVER LOCK

COVER LOCKING CABLE REMOVAL/

INSTALLATION

REMOVAL

Remove the L./R. engine under cover (page 6-3).
Loosen the washer side nut [1] of the cover locking

cable A [2], and then disconnect the cable from the R.

lock arm [3].

Loosen the washer side nuts [1] of the cover locking

cable A [2] and cover locking cable B [3], and then

disconnect the cables from the L. lock arm [4].

Loosen the washer side nuts [1] of the cover locking

cable B [2], and then disconnect the cable from the front

lock arm [3].

INSTALLATION/ADJUSTMENT

Set the adjusting nut position of cover locking cable B

[1] (shorter cable) to the measurement as shown.
