FUEL SYSTEM
CLEANING
Wipe off carbon or any other dirt or stain with soft dry
shop towels sprayed with carburetor cleaner, and clean
the throttle valve and bore.
The inside of the throttle body is coated with
molybdenum. Do not clean the throttle body
excessively.
INTAKE MANIFOLD REMOVAL/
INSTALLATION
REMOVAL
Release the harness clip [1] and disconnect the MAP
sensor 3P connector [2].
Disconnect the IAT sensor 2P connector [3].
Disconnect the pressure regulator vacuum hose [4]
from the intake manifold [5].
Loosen the throttle cable adjusting nuts [6] and
disconnect the throttle cables [7] from the throttle cam
[8].
Disconnect the IAC valve 2P connector [1] and TP
sensor 3P connector [2].
