FUEL SYSTEM
EBT SENSOR REMOVAL/
INSTALLATION
Remove the cylinder head (page 14-22).
Disconnect the 2P connector [1] and remove the EBT
sensor [2].
Replace the O-ring with a new one [3] and coat it with
engine oil.
Apply liquid sealant (Threebond
®
#1201 or #1215,
Hondabond HT, Hondabond 4, or equivalent) to the
threads and seating surface of the EBT sensor.
• Do not apply liquid sealant to the thermistor [4].
Install and tighten the EBT sensor to the specified
torque.
Connect the 2P connector to the EBT sensor.
Install the cylinder head (page 14-24).
TORQUE: 12 N·m (1.2 kgf·m, 9 lbf·ft)
