CYLINDER BLOCK
Stagger the piston ring end gaps as shown (top ring [1],
second ring [2], side rail (top side) [3], spacer [4], and
side rail (skirt side) [5]).
• Do not align with the piston pin, and avoid the
direction that makes a right angle with the piston pin.
CRANKCASE COVER/CRANKSHAFT
ASSEMBLY
Apply engine oil to the threads and seating surface of
the oil jet bolt [1].
Install the three oil jet bodies [2] onto the cylinder block
by aligning the tab [3] of the oil jet body with the hole [4]
of the cylinder block.
Install and tighten the three oil jet bolts to the specified
torque.
