(8) Relay Alarm limits
When a relay is configured as an alarm or warning limit and
feature
bit 7 = 1, the alarm limits
will be displayed as alarm "On Setpoint" and "Off Setpoint".
In high alarm: The message is activated when level exceeds the "On Setpoint" and goes off
when the level undershots the "Off Setpoint". In low alarm: The message is activated when the
level undershots the "On Setpoint" and goes off when the level exceeds the "Off Setpoint". Only
those On and Off alarm setpoints will be visible which are configured as alarm of a relay in the
device. Others will be visible as normal limit with a hysteresis. See Figure "Limit view Mr200
relay and normal"
Note
● In case of relay configuration as high alarm or warning, the "Off Setpoint" value should not
be greater (or smaller) than "On Setpoint" (in case of low alarm or warning vice versa).
● When
Feature
bit 7 =0, limit view displays the normal PCS 7 limits (H Alarm, H Warning,
L Warning and L Alarm).
● Hysteresis values will not be shown only when all 4 (Alarm, warning) values are set from the
relay.
● The On and Off setpoints for the relays always refer to the level even if
PV1
or
PV2
is
configured as flow or volume.
