Description of PSipPS2
Function
The PSipPS2 block is the interface to the operator panel for the technological block SipPS2.
It is a message-capable block and generates the same Alarm_DQ messages as the associated
technological block.
Configuration notes
The
BlockConnector
input of the PSipPS2 must be interconnected to any desired SipPS2
output. The relevant data for the panel block (e.g. status information or messages) is then
automatically processed via the panel block and displayed accordingly.
Note
The
ENO
output must not be used for interconnection with the
BlockConnector
input.
If the
MsgLock
parameter = 0, the PSipPS2 sends the messages to the operator panel and the
OS operator station.
When the
MsgLock_Out
output is connected to the MsgLock input of the SipPS2 technological
block, the messages of the technological block are locked to avoid duplicate messages at the
OS operator station. If control system messages (CSF) and external messages (
ExtMsgx
) are
to be suppressed as well,
Feature
bit 25 (1 = Suppress all messages if
MsgLock
= 1) must
also be set at the technological block.
The IDBNo output has to point to an address of the PanelConDB data block. This area of the
data block is needed to connect the panel.
Calling OBs
The cyclic interrupt OB in which you install the block (e.g. OB32). Additionally in the OB100 (see
"Startup characteristics").
Startup characteristics
The RunUpCyc parameter can be used to specify for how long (number of cycles) the
messages are to be suppressed.
Restart
=
TRUE
can be used to simulate a restart.
