Syntax
Call up the command with the following parameters:
event config {cold-warmstart|linkchange|authentication-failure|
power-change|faultstate-change|stp-change|
overlap-ap|wds|dfs|wlan-general|
wlan-auth-log|ipcf-cycle-time|ipcf-poll-
size|all}{logtable|syslog|email|trap|faults|all}
The parameters have the following meaning:

cold-warmstart
Message if there is cold or warm restart
linkchange
Message when there is a status change on a physical interface
authentication-failure
Message if there is an incorrect login
power-change
Message when there is a status change in the power supply
faultstate-change
Message when there is a status change in the error monitoring
stp-change
Message when there is a change in the spanning tree
overlap-ap
Message if radio channels overlap (in Access Point mode only)
wds
Message if there are changes to WDS (in Access Point mode only)
dfs
Message if a radar signal is received or if there is a status change in the DFS scan
(only in Access Point mode)
wlan-general
Message if the channel bandwidth has changed (in Access Point mode only)
wlan-auth-log
Message if changes are made to the log file (in Client mode only)
ipcf-cycle-time
Message if too many clients are logged on for the set iPCF cycle time or if some cli-
ents were not reached in one cycle
(only in access point mode and only available if supported by the device)
ipcf-poll-size
Message when the PNIO data size is too large for the transmission.
(only available if supported by the device)

The device triggers an error. The error LED lights up.

The setting deciding which message of the device is stored or forwarded is configured.
Further notes
You display the status of the events and the clients with the
show events config
command.
You delete the settings with the
no event config
command.
With this command, the clients are not enabled.
