Commands in the WLAN Interface configuration mode
This section describes commands that you can call up in the WLAN Interface Configuration
mode. Depending on the Interface selected, various command sets are available.
In the Global Configuration mode, enter the
interface wlan 0/X
command to change to this
mode.

If you exit the WLAN Interface Configuration mode with the
exit
command, you return to
the Global Configuration mode.

If you exit the WLAN Interface Configuration mode with the
end
command, you return to
the Privileged EXEC mode.
10.2.3.1
wlan security edit key
Description
With this command, you add a WEP or AES key to the key table. You can choose between
several key lengths.

5 or 13 ASCII or 10 or 26 hexadecimal characters specify a weaker key (40/104 bits).
●
16 ASCII or 32 hexadecimal characters, on the other hand, define a strong key (128 bits).
Note
iPCF or iPCF-MC mode activated
If you want encryption with AES in iPCF or iPCF-MC mode, only keys with a 128 bit key
length are supported.
Requirement
You are in the Interface configuration mode of the WLAN interface.
The command prompt is as follows:
cli (config-if-wlan-0-X)#
Syntax
Call up the command with the following parameters:
wlan security edit key <index(1-4)> <key>
The parameters have the following meaning:
