Level

 is the desired output power level of the external signal generator. 

This parameter is only available when

 is set to ON. This parameter 

is not displayed when the B10 option is not installed 

2.5.4.3  Generator Select 

Generator Select

 is used to select an external signal generator model from the defined list. 

This is necessary to ensure that the correct GPIB commands are sent to the signal generator. 

The list of signal generators is defined within the spectrum analyzer software – refer to 
the spectrum analyzer and B10 option user manuals for details on how to edit this list 
and add new signal generators. 

This parameter is only available when 

Automatic

 

Control

 is set to ON. This parameter 

is not displayed when the B10 option is not installed 

2.5.4.4  GPIB Address 

GPIB Address

 is the address used to control the external signal generator via GPIB.
