• Is the printing media suitable for use with this printer?
In the situation where a printing media is used that should not be used with this
printer, or if there are variations in the materials and thicknesses of the printing
media, the printing position may be displaced or the print image may be changed.
Further, if the surface of the printing media is rough, or if it has oil (including skin
oils) attached, the transfer of ink cannot be carried out and there may be changes in
the printed image.

• Is the line thickness too thin?
If the line thickness is too thin, the print image may be changed. In this situation, try
setting the line thickness to 1.5pt or greater and printing again.
• When the Print Image is Unreadable
• Has the printing density been set too high?
If printing is carried out with the [Density] setting of the [Advanced Settings] in the
printing setting of the printer driver of this printer set to a high numerical value, the
ribbon of the ribbon cassette may break or printing problems may be caused.

• When the Cleaning Tape has Finished
• Replace the cleaning cassette.
If the cleaning tape finishes while cleaning is being carried out, “No cleaning tape”
will be displayed, so replace the cleaning cassette. Regarding the purchase of
replacement cleaning cassettes, please contact your nearest dealer.
