Notes
• In the situation of removing the media from the printer, do not use a hard
object such as a metal rod. If this scratches the parts inside the printer,
there will be a danger of adversely affecting the printing performance.
• Take care in the case where the settings in “Form Name” and “Media Type”
of the printer driver differ from the sheet or plate that is actually set in the
printer, since this will result in jamming. Further, if sheet and plate types
and sizes are used that do not conform to the types and sizes that can
be used in the printer, it will result in jamming. Confirm the specifications
before carrying out the printing.
• In the case where the roll sheet has become jammed, so that the roller
is contacting (nipping) the sheet, eliminate the problem by switching the
Power switch between off and on (to carry out initialization), and then back
off again. Then remove the sheet. (Refer to the figure below.)
• Has the cleaning tape become jammed?
If the cleaning tape has become wound on to the cleaning roller, or if the tape has
become affixed to the plate or sheet, there are situations where feeding may not be
possible. Remove the cleaning tape that has become affixed.
