• Please use die cut sheet rolls that have top of form marks on the backing
paper surface or that have holes in the center of the sheet.
• Regarding roll sheets and cut sheets, there is sometimes a situation where
the storage conditions or environment creates a displacement between
the backing paper and the sheet, so that part of the adhesive surface is
exposed. In this situation, use the sheet after cutting off the leading edge
of the sheet. Using the sheet with the exposed adhesive surface may
result in damage to the printer or other equipment.
Concerning sheet storage, refer to “Plate and Sheet Storage” on P.99.
• Among the commercially available roll sheets and cut sheets, there are
some that will not allow printing in this printer. Please contact your nearest
dealer for more information.
• Adhesive from the leading edge of the roll sheet may become attached to
the width regulating guide and cause feeding problems. If adhesive soiling
is noticed on the width regulating guide, wipe off the soiling using a soft
cloth that has been moistened with water and then tightly wrung.
For more details, refer to “4.4 Routine Cleaning” on P.94.
