(9) Click on [Yes, I want to restart my computer now], then click on [Finish].
(10) When the PC has restarted, connect the PC with the printer using the USB
cable, and switch on the printer power switch.

• You need to log on as an Administrator or a user with administrator's
authority on the computer after rebooting.

(11) In the case of running Windows XP, when the printer is recognized, a screen
may be displayed asking [Can Windows connect to Windows Update to search
for software?] Click on [No, not this time], then click on [Next].
